OUR FIRST FARM!
At long last – after countless challenges, in March 2024, we secured our first 2 hectares of land for the project. In the southern Senegalese region of Casamance, LionFarming has finally found its first home.
For months, we’ve been tirelessly working to prepare this land for agriculture. A water source has been successfully tapped, and over 100 orange, banana, papaya, and lemon trees have already been planted in the soil. Yet, less than 30% of the area is currently ready for agricultural use.
With determination and relentless effort, we push forward – despite limited equipment. More often than not, our most valuable tool is still our own hands holding a shovel. But we refuse to be stopped.
Like true lions, we fight every single day, making sacrifices and giving everything we’ve got to bring this vision to life. Step by step, we are building a golden future – for ourselves, for the region, and for a new era of agriculture.
